Have any of you played or thought about a game, to the point that you start dreaming about it?

For the average person with no skill what so ever in programming or designing or even have a foot in the door to the gaming industry. Where or how would be the best way to go about pitching gaming ideas to companies and possibly having it developed if it is a good idea. And also not run the risk of your idea being used later on without being able to prove where the idea came about.

1. Despite Disney's strong interest in having a competitive gaming division, past games like Split/Second or the first Epic Mickey failed to be large commercial successes. Why do you think this is? What games would help make Disney a contender as a publisher or developer?

Final fantasy X remake, got me to go back and think about some of the hidden meaning within that game.
A lot of gamers want games to be considered art, but most of them don't even try to interpret the meaning within. A big example is Final Fantasy X, where there are many allusions to THE BIBLE, and christianity.
Most people never figured out that Yuna is meant to represents Jesus in FFX, her guardians represent the apostles, and that's just the beginning, there are a lot more references in the game.

If it had been done in any other medium like a book it would have been praised for doing such a great work in putting in all those references in this great story.
now the main questions this brings is,
how many other video game stories are there that are much deeper than what we see at first glance?
Are we gamers too immature to look for these hidden meaning or maybe we just don't care?

Recently Microsoft stated that, there won't be showing any new conosole at e3 this year or any time soon. Sony also has no plans on new PS4. New consoles might come out in 2013 or later. This gives Nintendo a golden oppertunity to really sell the Wii U. What does Nintendo have to do sell the Wii U to gamers out there? Can games like Call of Duty, RE6 , Assassin Creed 3 and GTA 5 sell the system? Or is the Wii U tablet?

Being as it is there is no real, clear-cut path to finding a job in the game industry or tech media and given how smart Adam seems to be, I'm just curious as to what you guys on Feedback, in the G4 offices, or people you know who work in the tech industry studied while in school. Also, I'm curious how is it that you apply your education, knowledge, thought processes, etc to what you do.

I know I'm a bit late on this bandwagon, but I was playing Mass Effect 3 and at a certain part of the game the emotions were so intense that tears started coming out of my face (after choosing geth armies over quarians, in case you were wondering). I tried to tell my friends and they looked at me like a freak. My question is: if strong emotions become more present in games, how do you think they will affect sales and the status of games in entertainment culture? Is emotional inclusion a good way to reach out to a new audience or will it alienate newcomers?

I have been holding off on the Assassin's Creed series until the gameplay got to a level i would be satisfied with. Now that it has i'm considering picking up Assassins Creed 3. However i'm still confused on how much freedom i have to complete an assassination any way i want. The "synchronization system" seems to be more hindering than helpful. Am i going to be penalized for doing things my way?

With EA eliminating online functionality on certain games and bafflingly EA server authentication for offline games, do you think they could/should put out a patch to allow offline games to continue to work without authentication? If not, how much resources could it possibly take to ping a verification?

I am losing a lot of respect for the show. Like a lot of other ppl I wanted to hear about ME3 and the horrible ending. But no lets talk about Quaaludes and other nonsense.
The episodes just get shorter and shorter, they don't address what they post topics about like ME3. If the website has all these articiles about ME this Bioware that, WHY CANT FEEDBACK talk about them?
IT just seems since Adam left they treat this show like its time to goof off then to answer fans questions.

There was a rumor reported recently about Bethesda making a possible DLC called Dawnguard. Whether or not it is Skyrim related or something else completely was not said.
My question for you is 2 parts 1)What is your thoughts on this if it is a possible Skyrim DLC and what it might entail? and 2)What other DLC type things are you hoping Bethesda gives us in the future?
Mine is hoping for a conclusion to the Thalmor threat and if you chose Stormcloaks something with the Moot deciding whether or not Ulfric becomes High King or some twist comes into play that might set him back (or combine the two since both are some what related given the end of that Quest storyline)
Also want spears for weapons.....

Bioshock Infinite takes place during the Industrial Revolution and Assassin's Creed during the American Revolution. Both of these games will surely arouse feelings of nationalistic pride, or at the very least curiosity. With these games being released in October and a presidential election in November, do you think they may contribute to a higher turnout of young voters this Fall?
