Grasshopper Manufacture is considering a sequel to last year's Shadows of the Damned. They even think EA, the game's publisher would "probably" be on board. Probably is good enough me! Shadows of the Damned was one of my favorite games last year. Garcia Hotspur is such a babe.
Shadows of the Damned was collaboration between Suda 51 (No More Heroes) and Shinji Mikami (Resident Evil) with a soundtrack from Silent Hill Akira Yamaoka. That pedigree combined with a gun called "The Boner" guaranteed a good time. Sadly, it didn't sell that well. I personally blame a lack of marketing push on EA's side.
Would you play the sequel to Shadows of the Damned?

I'd love another round of that sort of insanity...

I'm not the biggest fan of any of the gaming guru's who collaborated on it, so I was pleasantly surprised to find I loved it. It was easily one of my favorite new IPs of the year. I'd even say it was superior to Resident Evil, but that may just be because RE contains less penis jokes. I loved the contrastingly artistic side scrolling stuff thrown in there too, much like was present in Alice: Madness Returns.

Holy hell yes! I would LOVE to see this! Shadows of the Damned was in my Top 5 for the best games of 2011. I've wanted a sequel since the very first of 4 times I beat the game.

Hells yeah bring on a sequel, it was my personal choice for GOTY. Such a great game made but such talent people. Im sure Lollipop Chainsaw will be great also just because it's grasshopper. Shadows ended leaving an opening for a sequel so lets make it happen. I'll be waiting with my wallet
