The beta test for World of Warcraft's upcoming Mists of Pandaria expansion pack has officially begun, Blizzard confirms in an update on Battle.net. Access appears to be limited right now -- check your e-mail for an invite! -- but the announcement promises that Annual Pass holders, press, fansites, friends, family and opt-in beta testers will soon be welcomed in as well.
The early stages of the beta will focus on the levels 1-10 experience in Pandaria, with "high-level content as well as template characters" being offered in future updates. Players can also still copy over their own high level characters now to try out the new talent system.
If you're selected for early play, feel free to step up onto your Internet soapbox of choice and share impressions, as there's no non-disclosure agreement associated with the test. Once you've got your invite, you'll need to download the client from Battle.net and install it before you can get into the game. You can also look for additional info in the Mists of Pandaria beta FAQ.
Those who haven't gotten into the beta yet ought to go and check out our recent look at the expansion, broken up between Mists of Pandaria hands-on preview part one and Mists of Pandaria hands-on preview part two.
