Mass Effect 3

Final Fantasy 13-2 is getting some unusual cross-franchise DLC in the form of Mass Effect 3 costumes for Serah and Noel. The news is revealed in this week's issue of Famitsu (via Andriasang), though that's pretty much the extent of it. There isn't even a screenshot of the new styles for FF13-2's main character, though I'm putting my money on it being N7 gear.

This isn't even the first time a completely bizarre and out-of-left-field franchise crossover has been announced for FF13-2. Way back in November 2011 when gamers were still chomping at the bit to play Mass Effect 3, Square Enix revealed Assassin's Creed-inspired DLC, allowing players to slip Noel into Ezio Auditore's threads. Now we're getting Mass Effect. Personally, I won't be satisfied until FF13-2 gets Battletoads outfits. And you shouldn't be either.
