This morning marked the first time we saw TellTale's The Walking Dead game in action, and now we've got some more concrete, official details for you.
The first of five monthly episodes of The Walking Dead is set for release in late April on the Xbox Live Marketplace for Xbox 360 for 400 Microsoft Points, on PlayStation Network for $4.99 and on PC and Mac as a season pass for $24.99 from the Telltale Online Store and other digital outlets.
Telltale has also revealed details for a limited time pre-order offer available via their online store. Pre-order customers will get the chance to join the cast of the game in episode four, where they will be modeled as a human survivor before being killed and then returned to life as a ravenous zombie. Pre-ordering also qualifies customers for a 10% discount (get the 5 episode season for $22.49; normally $24.99).

I agree that it should be based off of and the TV series because very few people read the comic series if your trying to make money and have a popular game you should make the game off the version most people are familiar with. When I saw this link on Facebook I was like Awesome now i get to play as Rick and Carl ect. from the TV series and was just trying to imagine how awesome it would be and how realistic the characters would look, when I saw this video frankly I was disappointed. Like I said before when you say "The Walking Dead" I think AMC's TV series I mean I know of the comic but I've never read it or even heard of it before the TV show. Like I said before you should redo this entire project and make it about the tv series not the comic book.

this could be good. i started the series long before the show and have since lost faith in the show. the game looks pretty cool though. i to anyone who hasnt read the comics, do so. trust me. they are exponentially better and much more darker.

As much as I really want this, Jurassic Park was a huge fail so color me sceptical on this one
