Microsoft has denied all rumors that a new Xbox will be announced at E3. That means no NextBox, no Durango, no Xbox 720.
Ryan James, Group PR Manager for Microsoft told GameInformer, "While we appreciate all the interest in our long-range plans for the future, we can confirm that there will be no talk of new Xbox hardware at E3 or anytime soon.
"For us, 2012 is all about Xbox 360—and it’s the best year ever for Xbox 360. The console is coming off its biggest year ever—a year in which Xbox outsold all other consoles worldwide."
The PS4 seems even less likely than the Xbox 720. Bad news for gamers who want a change but great news for Nintendo, who will definitely be showing off its new console, the Wii-U!

well, microsoft pays a lot of publishers extra money to get stuff first! money rules! but maybe ftsKaleem meant better marketing! i'm a gamer so i know whats coming. mainstream gamers don't. so better marketing i would agree! but he said 360 was impressive...? besides third party games that are on both systems it's a persons choice, an if microsoft pays to get it first... make ya money! then to market the same thing, gears, halo, fable, thats not impressive! kinect...? not impressive! i was happy when alan wake came out! at least it was something different! last year it was gears, so you knew the next year was halo! know need for marketing there!

I think you miss interpreted what ftsKaleem said.
First off, ftsKaleem stated that he supports PS3, so he's no fanboy.
Secondly, I believe his comment:

Has more to do with the fact that multiplatform developers typically get more out of the 360 when looking at performance analysis.

PS3 needs better game developers...? so you like playing garbage SIR! cuz good game developers is what SONY is known for! they have better developers and better games! xbox is known for killing the systems early so that suckers like you can spend hundreds of dollars again to use old hardware from sony and nintendo! you can ductape a PS2 and a gamecube together to get an xbox 360, an all it will product is halo an gears over an over an over! there is know real games, no different types of games. sony doesn't need a new system, nintendo just needs the catch up, a as far as xbox, they'll keep you sucks buy at less two games a year! call of duty and halo, or call of duty and gears of war, or call of duty an fable! MS said they would be the top console in 2011 and they were. They say 2012 will be even better.
Fact is, MS has ppl that are paid to know how the numbers will play out.
MS is just letting ppl know that the 360 will complete its 8th year of production before a replacement is warranted.

that's not a smart move, with the PS Vita just being released and the Wii U most likely making a presentation at E3, Microsoft better pull out something amazing at this years E3, which i think is highly doubtful, they will probably showcase some more Kinect games, which in my opinion is the dumbest way to play a game on their console, i'd rather have a controller in my hands instead of waving them around all crazy like. To the topic of Vita games tho, i'm more than confident Sony will showcase some outstanding games that will be ported to it simply for the fact that its a portable PS3

First off, when it comes to rushing, both Sony and Nintendo are pushing their new consoles out in fewer years.
PS1 came out North America in late 1995 and 5 years later came the PS2
PS2 came out in late 2000 and 6 years later came the PS3
The game Cube came out in late 2001 and 5 years later came the Wii
The Wii came out in2006 and 6 years later they will release the WiiU
The 360 came out in late 2005 and 7 years later in 2012 MS isn't even showing a new console.
That's called staying power.

Why would there be a Blu-ray player in any microsoft product, The blu-ray player was funded and developed by sony, why would sony give microsoft permission to use its technology. And why did microsoft have to come into the console market. Before xbox, Sony and nintendo took there times with there consoles, they didnt push anythink on the consumers, now microsoft has come into the picture and now consoles r so rushed. Microsoft can go do wat they want, but i dont think sony will play along with this game. Sony willl release there consoles when they r ready, even if it means being the last console out. Microsoft will destroy themselves with this whole rush game they r playing, use to be a 10 year lifecycle now its 6 years, microsoft will fail when people realise that with each new xbox that comes out from now on wont have a real difference in technology but still cost them $500. Sounds a bit like other methods used by microsoft in the past.
