Bethesda's Scrolls Title Dispute With Mojang Settled

Mojang and Bethesda have reached an amicable agreement concerning the former's planned use of the Scrolls title for an upcoming game, with the Minecraft developer getting to hang onto the name in exchange for letting go of any trademarks associated with it. The news was confirmed in a weekend post on the company website from Mojang's Carl Manneh.

Manneh writes, "To answer the big question – yes Scrolls is still going to be called Scrolls. To answer the second question – we aren’t going to keep the trade mark. For us this was never about a trade mark but being able to use Scrolls as the name of our game which we can – Yey."
