pretty good tips......for a noob! lol. in all seriousness, what he calls "the claw" is actually really useful. But it will come naturally the more you play the game. getting there before your opponents gives you a huge advantage. the kick otherwise is not really that useful. it might work against inexperienced players but the more experienced ones will make you pay if you use it. (they will now its coming).
one tip i give if you want to be a pro (or at least really good). learn to use the walls. don't have a name for it but every gears experienced player uses it (i'm pretty good...really). when you are in a firefight against one or more players try to get into cover after every shot you take with your shotgun (this is a close quarter technique) and immediately getting out of cover to take the other shot and repeat until your enemy is dead. won't work all the time, but can save you a great amount of times.
try to never loose sight of your target for it will make it easier to shot your opponent. You have to get your timing right, because you don't want to get stuck in the wall or give enough time to your target to aim at you while in cover. to do it right you should aim to get out of the cover animation before you actually hit the wall or surface you are moving into. its hard to master but once you do you will be killing noobs left and right, and become a hard target for even the experienced players.
