This week on Feedback, Commander Blair Herter and his crew of talented NPCs (Eric Eckstein, Donell Tucker, and Nikole Zivalich) have climbed aboard the Normandy SR-2 to bring you all of the week's video games news. Buckle your seat-belts; it's going to be a wild wide. Before we jump into Mass Effect 3, we discuss Halo 4, Fable: The Journey, Assassin's Creed 3, and more.
The AUDIO MP3 of this episode of FEEDBACK is available here: Right-click and Save.
We covered a ton of topics this week, all while occasionally hitting the questions you sent it. This week's topics included:
- A new viddoc for Halo 4 was released promising a new and improved Halo experience. But are we convinced it won't be more of the same?
- The Fable series is taking some risks. Two upcoming titles are very different from the Fable experience we've grown to love. How will Fable: The Journey and Fable Heroes stack up?
- Rumors are swirling that Valve is working on a set top box. Is Valve going to compete with Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo? Do we want them to?
- Assassin's Creed 3 will officially be set during the American Revolution. Will this new setting be enough to win back fans who got burnt out on AC?
All of these news stories are just lovely but we're all here for the Mass Effect 3! ME3 was one of the most anticipated games of the last several years. The wait is over, but did it meet our expectations?
Nice comments only, thanks!

you don't like the story of assassin's creed, but you love playing first person shooters that involve you saving the planet from alien invasions. wow that haven't been done before at all.

I wonder if there's free parking in the Donell Zone...

I'm surprised they didn't mention anything about the huge issue with face nodes not importing to Mass Effect 3. It's infuriating a lot of people.

Man I miss Abbie, Patrick, and Adam.

Valve not making games? The poop you talking about? Dota 2 and Counter Strike: GO. Also the constant updates to Team Fortress 2.

It's so strange that Adam is not on the show, considering he wrote the review and has extensively talked about the game on his soap box episodes. Is this some sort of scheme that is meant to attract to more young hipsters? I am a young guy my self, and have yet to meet anyone who works for G4, who brings as much knowledge and analysis, and create a lively discussion as the sess man. I can deal with the fact that he hasn't been on for like three months (actually I can't) but I have no idea why they chose to leave the reviewer out of the discussion this time. I could be wrong and may be sess wan't to spend more time outside of gaming, but it's a hypothesis.

The 18th century brought about a cultural change in military tactics. Innovations in muskets (a skilled marksmen firing three rounds in one minute, and with certain accuracy) and cannon range made land wars much more strategic.
Classical Espionage, as we see it now, was flourishing in the Europe, but was particularly difficult with the Americas being so far from everything else, and yet still important. This was the beginning of the earliest more complex forms of information wars in international affairs.
There's a reason I've never heard of literature with Assassins in the Colonial period. That's not how things worked then. It was politics and nation building.
This experiment will be very interesting, because you can really miss the mark.

what if i lost my mm1 and me2 saves on a bad hard drive is there a way to make those choices again like the motion comic at the beginning of the ps3 me2 or is it more vague like how they did it in the 360 version were they just asked you a few questions and made the rest of the choices for you?
cmdluke
shouldn't adam be on the panel since he wrote the review?

I like to put my turtle beaches on when i watch Feedback and pretend like I am sitting in there with you guys. That's not creepy at all is it?

Love the cast of today's Feedback, still wish The Sess was on to talk about Mass Effect 3. Especially since he did the review...
