The Assassin's Creed 3 picture leaks keep on coming. Four screens have hit the internet this morning. If they are legit, the Assassin's Creed 3 shots show off more of the game's unique American Revolution setting, as well as giving us more of a look at the as-yet-unnamed main character.
We can't tell if the shots are concept art or actual, in-game screenshots, but we know they are awesome. Over the last few days, here's the breakdown of what's happened:
- We're pretty sure Assassin's Creed 3 will be set in New York.
- Here's the first officially released Assassin's Creed 3 image: The box cover.
- The next Game Informer will feature a long feature on Assassin's Creed 3
I put another picture under the Read More tag, in which the lead assassin seems to be about to murder Napoleon! UPDATE: Everyone at G4 has called me an idiot for saying that that's Napoleon. BUT I STAND BY MY STATEMENT!

Yeah, I think I want to play this.

Based on the clarity and quality of these photos, I deduce that this comes from the game.
The first photo obviously depicts A British base. It wasn't uncommon in that war to see an enemy take over a town and form a base.
The second photo doesn't necessarily depict an Assassin, but it's obviously an american (based on the blue coat) perhaps Benedict Arnold? I doubt George Washington. Also wonder what might be under that coat. I know (based on my grasp of the AC universe that there are three apples of Eden. Could be the third.
I imagine our new Assassin might be working for both sides.

If you say that's Napoleon then he's pretty big for a 7 year old. He was born in 1769.

The guy in the bottom picture is probably George Washington, because, if I remember correctly, George Washington is a Templar.

FOR HER MAJESTY, THE QUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN!
(if his name turns out to be john smith, someone should be fired)

that looks more like washington to me. though both him and napoleon had apples of edens. so....lets just assassinate them all and be done with it lol bring on the grand temple i'm ready for that tomahawk

Being non-American maybe someone can enlighten me. What sort of architecture did 18th century America have? What do I have to look forward to, to climb?

The American Revolution is a time period I've always had a lot of interest in, and it's one I want to see more movies, and especially video games, explore. To me, one of the big strengths of this franchise is that it sets itself in time periods and locations often unexplored by other games.

Looks interesting, but I still wish they would take some time of the series. Allow me to miss it for a while.

It looks like an even BIGGER open world. Maybe this is wishful thinking but i might just discover the pacific ocean first (;

Assassins Creed was in a big need of a set piece change. Excited to kill some red coats! NO ASSASSINATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION!
