Call of Duty Elite premium subscribers have been enjoying new content releases on a monthly basis since January, but next month sees Activision kicking off the other phase of the game's DLC cycle. A press release confirms that the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Content Collection #1 will come to Xbox Live on March 20, offering four multiplayer maps and two new Spec Ops missions. Releases on other platforms will follow "at a later date."
Joining the previously released maps Liberation, Piazza and Overwatch is newcomer Black Box, in which players "battle beside a downed Air Force One amidst multi-level homes overlooking the luxurious Southern California neighborhood." The Spec Ops mission Black Ice involves a snowmobile, a diamond mine and high-grade explosives. Negotiator, the other Spec Ops mission, sends players to India for a hostage extraction.
There's no price revealed for MW3 Collection #1, though if the release is anything like previous Call of Duty DLC releases, you can expect it to fall at 1200 MS Points. Elite's premium subscribers will get to download Black Box, Black Ice and Negatiotor a week early, as part of the service's monthly content drops, on March 13.
You can keep up with the release schedule for the Call of Duty content season at the game's official website.

Why leave out PC from the early release of the maps. It's Microsoft also. Makes no sense to me, and I am stuck here with the same old maps that are getting boring very quickly. So not only has it been about 5 months since the release. But I still have to wait at least a month AFTER March 20'th. PC gamers get screwed every time. Even EA told us that BF3's main platform would be the PC. What did we get? A port that is slightly better than most.

True. Cant keep making the same game over and over with little tweaks and such. Gotta admitt, the vadtness and open play of bf3 gives you the choice to go anywhere, do anything, and be whatever you want. Its all about options and cod offers none. Just wish bf3 moved at 60frames insteam of 30. Gotta bring that ish around to the new age. Plays to twitchy... Plus all the quick scoping and exploits of cod, no one can just pick it up and stand a chance...
