Here's a little bit of awesome news for you Sons of Anarchy fans, hot off of Twitter. Kurt Sutter, the creator of the popular motorcycle gang drama on FX, just let the tweet-reading world know a few things about a possible Sons game. I'll let the man speak for himself:
"Soon to be taking meetings about an SOA game. Have a major gaming company interested. Trying to figure out costs, platform and timing." A subsequent tweet reads: "To do a quality platform-based game costs tens of millions and takes years. We're toying with the idea of a high-end browser-based game."
As long as it's written and staged with the same level of craft that we see on the show, I'd play a Sons of Anarchy game on a freaking ColecoVision. Take the weekend to ponder the possibilities and let us know what you think.

I love this show and I love video games but I am not sure what route would be a good idea that wont make the game lame. As for the web browser idea I am pretty sure that will most defiantly result in failure but you never know, if you have some genius designers working on it maybe it will work out. What ever pans out I hope Kurt intends on working very close with the creative team so that it doesn't get off track and can stay true to the show.

I love the show! been hooked since the 1st episode of the series =) if they make a game I hope itll be open world like GTA.

Sutter's comment about game development taking too long and thus looking at a "high end" browser based game, make this sound like a money grab, rather than really providing a quality gaming experience to fans

They shouldn't follow the same story line as the one in the show it should be about another branch of the sons maybe a big city chapter like chicago, new york or maybe the irish chapter but they definitely shouldnt have anything to do with the show other than maybe showing them come to where you are in a few missions and have that be an episode.

Just get the Lost and The Dammed DLC for GTA4.
"High end browser based game" kinda says all that needs to be said about how this one will turn out.

Love the show when I can't ride. But what they should do is get the "Ride to Hell" by Deep Silver which was never released (was really looking forward to that game). And use what was already there and make it the S.O.A. game. Just a thought
