Spider-Man is coming back to theaters this July with a new take on the Marvel superhero directed by Marc Webb and starring Andrew Garfield. One week earlier, Beenox will unleash its first crack at open-world Spidey in the Activision-published The Amazing Spider-Man, a new trailer now confirms.
The official release date posted at the end of the IGN-exclusive trailer is June 26, with the game coming to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, DS and 3DS. You also get to have a look at the villainous Rhino, who appears in a Spider-Man video game for what must be the 43,464,872.091,330th time. Think we'll fight Electro too? How about Scorpion? Maybe a wacky funhouse level with Mysterio?
Don't get me wrong, I'm totally looking forward to more Spidey from Beenox. But everyone's favorite friendly, neighborhood Spider-Man really needs to bulk up his rogue's gallery. And not just with generic giant robots.

new Spiderman is too small. need more muscles cause i Don't see any, especially compare with Rhino

They should have the combat be more fluid like Arkham City. Yes that would be copying but would that suprise anyone. I'd like it if the games were bases off of the comics with Webhead on the Avengers and the Future Foundation and fight their bad guys.

Look at that, A Spider-man game where the Rhino actually looks more like the Rhino that the Lizard looks like the Lizard in the new movie.

Dear Beenox and Activision.....You're killing this franchise worse than Treyarch. Take a few years of, steal every idea from Rocksteady and Batman, then release a "new" Spider-man featuring the same bad guys that were corny 30 years. Then I'll buy your game.
Until that happens, I'll pass on...
