When G4 rolls into Las Vegas, they roll in style. When we decided to shoot a few episodes of Feedback while we were at DICE we knew we had to bring it. Blair Herter broke out his little black book of video game developers and these three gentlemen showed up. Ladies and Gents, I give you Tim Schafer, Chet Faliszek and Pete Hines. These men need know introduction but here I go anyway. Tim is the CEO and Founder of Double Fine. He's who you need to talk to if you want Psychonauts 2. Chet is a writer extraordinaire at Valve and no, he will not tell you anything about Half-Life 2 Ep. 3. Pete is the VP of PR and Marketing at Bethesda. He's basically the Dovahkiin.
The AUDIO MP3 of this episode of FEEDBACK is available here: Right-click and Save.
Blair Herter and gang answered your Fan Feedback questions. Here are some of the topics they covered:
- Tim Schafer addressed his Kickstarter success with Double Fine Adventure.
- Pete Hines addressed mods in Skyrim and why the community is important.
- Chet Faliszek chimed in to discuss Steam and PC gaming. Sorry folks, no Half-Life 3 news.
**Did you notice how badass the room we taped in is? The Video Game History Museum put together a sweet retro arcade and they let us shoot there. Mad props to them!
I know you're overwhelmed by this episode right now but please, try and articulate your joy in the comment section.

And no offense to Tim Schafer. I love your games man; you are brilliant innovator and all, but it's getting to be...tiresome seeing you on G4. Please don't take this the wrong way, but I'm going to need you to sit down somewhere.

I'm getting tired of all the guests too. It was okay when there was maybe one or two guests every month or so, but EVERY WEEK is becoming irritating. I really want the old panel of Feedbackers on there WITHOUT guests for the next couple of weeks. Please, give it a rest Blair.

idk the last 4 feedbacks im not sure what i watch it was so boring cause these old dudes ramble on and on and on but i do try to listen to them becuase they are giving good advice on how to get into the industry but gosh i fell asleep on the last two feedbacks idk if i can take anymore of this.

Second comment regarding this episode's absence from iTunes. A response from G4 about its pending or nonexistent release would be much appreciated. Thank you! :)
Really any note on what it is that complicates or delays these podcasts would be nice. I subscribe to quite a few and rarely have issues with any other than G4. I love the content you put out, and really wouldn't bother sharing my concern if I didn't have an extremely positive opinion of your organization. Yes, I could watch it on the site, but my internet access is typically only long enough to download the podcast and move on.

So THAT'S the guy who is responsible for the ass-terrible story in Half-life and Half-life 2? Good to know. Poor guy.

my friend's step-mother makes $80/hour on the computer. She has been out of a job for 5 months but last month her pay was $8862 just working on the computer for a few hours. Read more on this site... makecash16.com

If Bethesda ever did a kickstarter for whatever, I'd probably support it

Hey, thank you so much for putting this on iTunes.
Oh, wait. You didn't. Last week's wasn't put on iTunes either. Are you going back to that routine?

You picked my question!!! now i can die happy!!!

To answer one of those question: Best music in a game is Rayman Origins.
I've honestly never paid that much attention to soundtracks. Often the music or sounds of a game go unnoticed. The music of Rayman Origins instantly blew me away. It's a quirky, feel good soundtrack that complimented the various environments perfectly. The juxtaposition of a classical, orchestral sound with unconventional instruments or vocal gibberish is truly unique. It's hard to pick a favorite track, but I really love the kazoo stuff for the mosquito levels (http://www.youtube.com/watch? v=YPwgcAWCYVc). It, much like the game, is a creative, artistic masterpiece that should not be missed.

Hope next week back to regular feedback, guest are okay but back to back episodes of them are starting to become too much. I have been dying to hear about the feeback opinions on Kingdoms of amalur, Twisted metal, PS Vita, Darkness 2,Soul caliber 5 for what seems like weeks now.

If I could make a game, I would make a Diablo clone but it seems that that genre has pretty much dried up. All I know of is two indie games in the works and Diablo 3 of course. Meanwhile there are three crappy shooters released seemingly daily.

i think this is like one the first all male feedback in a long time, which means no Jessica C. Thank god, im not trollin or anything, i lov Jes, but this is a show with one host and 3 guests. not Blair & Jes co-hosts. She has been on almost every feedback for a cuppe months. I just hope they start having a more diverse line up. :)

Great episode as always.

Who else here wishes Tim Shafer was their BFF? He's just so damned cool.
