Yager Developments is finally gearing up to release Spec Ops: The Line, with 2K Games confirming in a morning press release that the modern warfare-themed third-person shooter will be hitting stores on June 26. The core of the game, as you've read in our preview coverage, is a dark tale that follows a small Special Forces squad through a sandstorm-ravaged Dubai.

There's also a more traditional multiplayer component to the game, and those who pre-order "from participating retailers" will receive a Premium Edition upgrade which comes with an assortment of bonuses: double XP during the first week of release, early unlocks for the AK-47 and "Officer Class" (a team-based class that buffs fellow soldiers and reduces damage for all) and a free download of the "FUBAR Pack," which contains cosmetic accessories for your soldiers.
