Bethesda announced a double-pack release of Oblivion and Fallout 3 today. On April 3rd, you'll be able to pick up the dual Game of the Year winners on on Xbox 360 and PC for $29.99 and $19.99, respectively.
Although these are both "Games of the Year," these are not the Game of the Year editions, so they do not come with the DLC packs that have been released for each game.
Expansions packs or not: These are two of the best games that have ever been released, and if you haven't played them, you can't come over to my house this weekend. Pick them up and come by after April 3, though, and have a rap session and some pepperoni 'za or something.

Some poor soul will buy it and never be heard from again. That is what 300 plus hours of game play in those two games!

Why do we need this instead of the regular GOTY editions that come with DLC? I'm pretty sure your can pick them up for the same price.
It's a shame, there will be some new comers buying this since Skyrim's massive success too, thinking they're getting a great deal and only end up spending the same ammounr - minus all the DLCs.
Seems like some dirty business tactics right there.

I'm eagerly waiting for the timely Pac-man / Galaga combo pack as well! Seriously though, I played a modded Oblivion for YEARS but have pretty much packed away Skyrim already due to boredom (and because the ME3 demo came out.)

Skyrim is a better game than Oblivion mainly because of the Companions quest(Werewolf Blood).No more stinking Vampire worries.I kind of miss going thru the tunnels with King Septim & the blades in the beginning,& the Arena combat leveling thing.If you have Never played Oblivion or Fallout,It isn't a bad deal.

those who would buy this are those who have it for xbox and not PC or vise versa. i would consider getting this for PC as i said....but then again, i would just get the FO3 GOTY cause i dont want Oblivion. but yea. those are the ppl who would consider this.

who in there right mind would by those now. i understand getting fallout 3 because new vegas sucked. getting oblivion is absolutely stupid considering skyrim is out. i longed over 300 hours like most people did so what the point in getting them. release morrowind in hd and the old fallout games in hd or something. to me that make more since than this.

i really dont understand how people can say oblivion sucks but love skyrim so much. they are basically the same game with skyrim being the updated version is it the fire power or something?

Horrible deal here. you can get both of these games for under 10 dollars and the want to put them together and charge 30.

I bought a 'double pack' of Bioshock and Oblivion a long time ago. Love Bioshock, couldnt get into Oblivion. Love Skyrim, though!...and I can't wait for Bioshock Infinite! Oh, and FO3.....well 300+ hours later it's always a fanatastic game to go back to!

I got Fallout 3 when it came out, but never played the DLC for it. Last week I was in a GameStop and saw the Fallout 3 GOTY for $20 while the two DLC packs (containing Operation Anchorage + The Pitt, and Broken Steel + Point Lookout, respectively) were $15 a piece, used, and didn't even include Mothership Zeta.
So I got the GOTY.
And the DLC is freaking awesome. To release these two games without the DLC, especially in a way as glorified as this, is a crime against man.

Easily one of the worst bundles trying to ride on the coattails of the HD/remastering/bundling craze, which is fairly shady in its own right. They're both great games, yet to not include the DLC is downright insulting, if not misleading when even stating the phrase 'Games of the Year' on the box. Nothing but a cash grab. Shame on you Bethesda.
Come on guys. Instead of actually just whining on G4, actually go to their twitter and website and show your disapproval.

What a waste of money... Fallout 3 is a really, really, really great game, but Oblivion sucks. You'd be better off just buying Fallout 3 GOTY.
