A listing for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 has apparently appeared on Amazon's French site. A French blog, Gameblog.fr, noticed the possible leaked information before Activision France reportedly tried to have the post removed. Gameblog.fr refused, and now they claim they've been blacklisted. This story is quickly turning into a case of "he said, she said," and we've yet to hear anything official from Activision.
We know the Call of Duty releases on an annual schedule and we know Treyarch is working on the title set for this year. If they call their game CoD: Black Ops 2 I won't die of shock. It is shocking though, that Activison would go as far as threatening media outlets, if the claims are true.

they've made 8 billions dollars off the series alone not including dlc and expansions if they wanted too they could develop total flops for the next 5 to 15 years and still be rich as shiz, since they try to make each title without spending over a few million. Example, activision makes 12 more cod games which sell absolutely no copies, activision spends 100 million for each said title (an insanely high budget for any media production). 8 billion minus 1.2 billion leaves 6.8 billion to straight bail the f out of trying to make games anymore or keep making more crap, or maybe actually try something new. They could literally give away the next 12 cod games and still be at a profit....

I am no fan of Call of Duty, but I respect the first Call of Duty, Call of Duty 2, Modern Warfare and Modern Warfare 3 as those were very good ones that I enjoyed playing. If its not entirely broken, why change it? The COD formula seems to work: ridiculous, explosive single player, tried and true multiplayer that is easy to get into. The only thing that annoys me about them lately is being charged $15 for average maps, not the actual games themselves, but the business practice. I just want them to add new weapons, or something included with the map packs as that adds more bang for your buck. Take Gears 3 for example, they throw in maps, skins for characters and weapons for only $10, as much better deal if you ask me.

I know a lot of you hate Black Ops. But damn did it try to make COD feel fresh again (Cold War, customization in multiplayer, etc).

If there is zombies in it then I will get it. Then again Treyarch would be stupid not to have zombies in it. If there for some reason is no zombies I am not getting it.

People always complain when they hear about a new COD game and yet they all will be waiting in line at the midnight release to pick it up and talk about how awesome it is. Why doesn't anyone complain about a Assassin's Creed being released every year for the past 4 years? If your going to complain about it then don't buy. As soon as Activision loses too much money on COD games they will can them and go on with something else. It's no different than Guitar Hero and the other current hit SKYLANDERS.
