We were honestly blown away yesterday when we got our first look at the cinematics from Far Cry 3. This game looks sick, these may be the best looking cut-scenes we've ever seen. Cinematics are one thing, though, gameplay is another -- that's where the real test is. Luckily, we got a look at how Far Cry 3 plays, too.  Here's a taste of our preview:

When it comes to “insane,” well, that’s a bit harder to pin down, because it saturates the entire Far Cry 3 experience. From the treacherous island setting to the crazed cast of characters that inhabit it to the actions Jason will be forced to perform in the name of survival, it’s all presented through a filter of madness, of civilization set adrift and allowed to fester and devolve into a toxic brew of lawlessness and depravity. In short, you're going to want to hire a sitter for the kids.
