Much beloved 1980s action-game Karateka is getting the makeover treatment thanks to creator, Jordan Mechner. You might be more familiar with Mechner's other brain child, Prince of Persia. By "HD" i'm picturing a Flash-styled game. If that's the case, they are probably just going to ruin it and are better off leaving it alone.

I loved the original Karateka! I played it every day on my Atari 7800. I never got past the second enemy. It was just too hard. I really can't wait to see what the updated version looks like!
