Assassin's Creed II Review

Ubisoft has announced Assassin's Creed 3 and they even announced its release date. You'll be reunited with Desmond on October 30, 2012. The confirmation of Assassin's Creed 3 comes from an Ubisoft investor call. The entire AssCreed series has been building up to 2012 and the doomsday clock, so needless to say, I'm stoked.

We don't know the setting of Assassin's Creed 3 but we'll be sure to let you know when we do.

Yeah. Just what we need, another Assassin's Creed game. -__- I'm sorry people. I just want this series to end, and I thought Revelations was going to be the last one.

This game is going to be awesome. Any one who is commenting on the "they release one every year now so it will suck" idea is not looking at the development of the last 3 games. If you look you can see that Ubisoft pulls in nearly all of its world wide production houses to make these games. So yes they do come out every year, but they have way more dedicated and skilled people pulled in on this one project than Call of Duty does every year . This game will be great!

I hope you could be desmond for a change. I meen ya its cool being Ezio and Altier but why not let us play as Desmond in real time and have the templars come in you play just like you would but be in present time? but switch on and off.

So when people said Assassin's Creed Brotherhood was Assassin's Creed 2.5 and Assassin's Creed Revelations was Assassin's Creed 2.75, they weren't kidding. Now we finally get a look at the real Assassin's Creed 3.

"AssCreed" That sounds like a butt disease you get on a pirate ship.

    Doctor: Yep, that's the AssCreed...

Patient: Is the the scientific name?

Doctor: Yep... You won't be sitting for 3 months.

    O_O!

Disgusting. Watered down due to yearly releases right into absolutely nothing.

    Pathetic.

Apparently, Ubisoft has taken the "2012 being the end of the world" thing to heart!

Hopefully the development cycle is actually longer than 1 year.

"The Next Game Is Coming Sooner Than You Think"

Really? 3 of the 4 Assassin's Creed games have been back-to-back yearly releases, and the series revolves around something happening in 2012. It sounds like this game is coming out EXACTLY when I expect. Now if I heard they were taking a couple years to work on the next game, now THAT would be surprising.

Since I know that assasins creed kicks ass the game will be bumbed up a month for teazers and fans craving the excitement of gameplay, so you know it's still going to be a good game

Ubisoft will most likely push the date back to Nov. Just wait and see.

I think its gonna pick up where Assassins Creed: Embers left off.

Considering how consistently the Assassin's Creed series has been released since the franchise's debut, this wasn't sooner than I thought at all.

The article on IGN said that its been in development for 3 years (so after they finished 2) This makes me think that Brotherhood and Revelations were testing grounds for concepts and gameplay ideas for Ubisoft to use in Assassins Creed 3.
