its all about a piece of the pie. Microsoft offered a larger % of sales profit due to the guaranteed $59.99 per year Xbox live sales and the additional $49.99 Elite sales. Honestly though the connection is better with .xbox Another marketing ploy?

What's really annoying as a PS3 user is to still have to wait an additional month after Xbox users get the new maps, even though I paid the extra 50 or 60 bucks for the Elite service, too! Activision, we do not like being treated as 2nd class customers just because Microsoft greased your palms to get the material first!

the elite is sum thing to get more $ out of you and if u play on xbox u pay for xbox live $60 just for that then $60 for the game then the elite is like what $50 or $60 and if u play on PSN you pay for the game then elite when u start to add all that up thats a lot of $ just to play a game online!!!
