The great Tim Schafer's Kickstarter project to create a point-and-click adventure game has been so wildly successful that Schafer and Double Fine are looking to expand beyond the PC platform to other places. According to Schafer, the time has come to consider creating a broader audience for the as-yet-untitled game.
"I think we're ready to talk about other platforms like iPad and the consoles," Schafer told us at last week's DICE Summit. "We've exceeded our goals on it, so I think definitely you'll be seeing it in a lot of places."
Check out the video below to learn more about Double Fine's adventure game and Schafer's reaction to the veritable flood of money his company raised from Kickstarter.

I really don't care how or where the game ends up, as I was never into point-and-click adventures. To me, this was a bigger cause. I was happy to throw my $15 in the ring (may add more) because Schafer is a funny guy, and is therefore cool in my book. Plus, I welcome any chance to help creativity overcome the harsh, boring, greedy world of the publishing business.
