According to Ken Levine, the creator of Bioshock, the story of Bioshock Infinite is being kept secret, even from some of Levine's own team. In an interview in PSM3, Levine said, "I want to preserve [it] and observe [the team], so I can see their reactions. Keeping people virgins to that content is really important because you never get that reaction from someone a second time."

As you might expect, keeping info from the team isn't always the most popular thing among people making a game. "I think (it's) a frustration on the team here," Levine said. "I don't want them to know the game story, and they want a document from me that tells them the whole game story."

I'm personally so excited for Bioshock Infinite, that I wish I could impose a total news blackout on the title until it's released. Sadly, I have to keep paying attention to every video, preview and piece of news about the game. Oh, well.
