In the original Darksiders you played as War, but in Darksiders 2 you're going to be playing as Death. Adam Sessler got a chance to sit down with David Adams, General Manager of Vigil Games, to talk about the upcoming sequel's upgraded graphics, story, and the character of Death, himself. You'll get to check out Death's abilities, fighting style, and more in the video below.
Darksiders 2 will be out for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in Summer 2012. Check out our Darksiders 2 preview, too.

Summer 2012! Yes, finally something more concrete than Q4.
Looks good to me, a mix of Darksiders+Prince of Persia this time around (wall running/agile character), more customization options, RPG elements and LOOT too!
Not sure how I feel about the use of constructs to cross some hazards instead of puzzle solving though, those parts sound kind of lazy imo.

For an all-too brief millisecond, I thought Death was Raziel from the Soul Reaver series. One can hope.... :)

I am not sold on this one as I was with the first. I played the first and loved it but there was nothing to draw me back in. I hope the Wii U version is good and the reviews are superb. And there is much replay value.
