Gotham City Impostors, Warner Interactive's Batman-inspired competitive multiplayer FPS, was originally set to hit Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network and PC-based digital stores last month, on January 10. Just days before the game's release, a delay announcement revealed that its arrival had been pushed back to a non-specific date in February. Well that date just got a whole lot more specific: February 7 for PC and PSN and February 8 for XBLA. Also known in some circles as "next week."
There's a press release confirming the news, as well as an update on the game's official website. Neither offers much more info than that, though it's not like anyone needs it at this point. Those who are interested in the game already know about its cartoonish, over-the-top action and fake-Batman vs. fake-Joker gang wars. So I guess your best bet is to just sit back, wait and try to figure out how you'll possibly be able to afford all of the big game releases that are coming next week.

I played this beta... it wasn't very good. Anyone who likes this should play the shadowrun FPS instead. It is a much better game. "I love to fly around and dive bomb!" What a joke. Play shadowrun... use the glider... then teleport behind someone and cut them in the back with a katana. This game is just like, "oh I got springy shoes... who cares! The tech doesn't work together. It is the same old point and click that we are all use to.

I love flying around and dive bombing people all day, tons of fun, me and my friends are thinking about getting it.

I was part of the Steam beta and initially it sucked because there was not a lot of players. But once people were on it was a lot of fun. I felt like I had no idea what was going on at times and waiting for teams was a bit tedious but once it gets going it can be a lot of fun. Its just a quick shoot em up. Kind of reminded be of playing Rune with its hack in slash lol

I've been playing that beta on XBL and i think it's pretty cool. Sucks when the comp makes the teams lopsided. Such as 2 on 5, which sucks. Especially when you know where the spawn points are, then it's just an annihilation. Still fun though.

It's beta is free to anyone on PSN right now.
I was not impressed anyways.
It's a cool idea/concept and the art design is great, but at the end of the day it's still just another mediocre FPS (and on that note it should have been a third person shooter too).
