Capcom officially announced Ace Attorney 5 and revealed its logo at the series' 10th anniversary event in Tokyo. However, even though they announced the game, they didn't give any details about it including the release date, platforms it will be offered on, or characters it will include.
The event also revealed a few more things, like that Professor Layton Vs. Ace Attorney for the Nintendo 3DS will be out this year. We also learned that new HD versions of the first three Ace Attorney games are going to be released on the iOS.
I'd say that's a lot of pretty great news for Ace Attorney fans. Are there any objections to any of these titles from you?

Shu Takumi, the guy who made Phoenix Wright, said he thought the 3rd game, "Trials and Tribulations" was a good end for Phoenix's story and he didn't want to make more games for it. Apollo Justice wasn't made by him and was the result of Capcom "executive meddling" making a spin off game developed by another person part of the "official story" of Phoenix Wright to boost sales. The reason people hate Apollo Justice? As a stand alone game nothing is particularly wrong, but as a sequel it takes everything that was great about Phoenix Wright and stomps on it.
Ghost Trick, a game Shu Takumi wanted to make, was AWESOME.
I wonder what caused this change if heart in Shu Takumi, I hope Capcom isn't forcing him into it.
