Sony has announced the release date of the Jak and Daxter Collection. Get ready to collect all of the precursor orbs on February 7 exclusively for the PlayStation 3. The collection will come packed with Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak II, and Jak 3 in beautiful HD visuals, 3D functionality, and the addition of collection and trophy support.
I for one couldn't be more excited to jump back into the Jak and Daxter world. February 7th can't come soon enough.

Im normally an xbox 360 guy, but my first console was a ps2, these and ratchet and clank were my childhood. Can't wait to put down my 360 for a month, and get back to my roots!!!!!

A pointless buy, unless you never played the J&D series. If you want to play J&D then play it on your ps2, don't re-buy a game you already have just because they "remastered" it.

Loved the first one. It came along with GT3 when I first got my PS2 all those years ago. I never played any of the other games, but I'm definitely picking up this collection.

Cool I can throw away my old copies. Jak X should be included it can't be beat. I'll start playing jak again like I used to. It's great to see in HD. I think the old Mercenaries game should be next for an HD upgrade. We need games you can level the game world and then it can reappear and do it again.
