The Muppets are coming! To LittleBigPlanet 2, that is. Tomorrow, Media Molecule will release the Muppets Premium Level Kit DLC on the PlayStation Network. For $5.99, you get five new levels, two new minigames and some added creation tools, as well as the usual cosmetic trappings like decorations and stickers (and a bonus Rowlf costume!). There's a story that involves disrupting the Phantom's plans to bring down The Muppet Show. Because the Phantom clearly hates things that are awesome.
The big gameplay changes stem from two new tools you'll have to work with: Attract-O-Gel material, which coats surfaces in a sticky substance that allows Sackboy to walk on walls and ceilings, and the Attract-O-Tweak gadget, which lets you add this stickiness to any material. The pack will cost $5.99. You can see it in action in the trailer up top!

I have a slight problem with "Disney's The Muppets", yes I know Disney bought them from Jim Henson's estate but they will always be Jim Henson's Muppets to me.
Either way pretty cool DLC. If I every get around to getting LBP2 this is a must download for me.

It's a beautiful mash-up and a great excuse to play some more LBP. I'll probably finally pick up the Muppet costumes. The Electric Mayhem ones are amazing.
The Attract-O-Gel is a material I've wanted for a long time. Maybe it and this slow release period will get me creating again.
