Nintendo continues to see improving sales for its 3DS handheld, especially now that there are such strong games to play on it, but the device's short battery life is still a sticking point for a lot of people. There's a new third-party solution out in Japan that promises to improve the 3-4 hour play time you get with a stock unit to more than 10, Andriasang reports. It's definitely of the "warranty voiding" variety, since you actually have to remove the handheld's rear covering and replace it with the battery pack, making your 3DS 9mm thicker in the process.
The battery pack comes from Japan Trust Technology and it's available in multiple colors: white, red and pink for roughly $130 U.S. dollars (¥9,980) or blue and black for roughly $120 U.S. dollars (¥9,480). Andriasang hasn't actually tested the product, but you can see it yourself, as well as pics detailing the installation process, on JTT's website.

Most Warranties are a good deal. Home Warranty, Game warranty and Car Warranties. For cars go to http://www.autowarranty411.com

This does not void the warranty as you are aloud to remove the stock battery which in order to do that you have to remove the back plate to do it also the back plate has no warranty void sticker preventing removal and it does not use the proprietary Nintendo tri-wing screwdriver.

The Vita's gives you up to 15 hours of gaming...

Look up the Nyko Power Grip. Triples the battery life then switches to the stock battery when it runs out. I can play it for a full day with no worries (Which is 8-10 hours). And, it's only $30. The one flaw is you can't use the circle pad with it, but it's not a major flaw. I don't understand why this is priced so high. Especially seeing as it's not that much of an improvement. The only thing I see is that the circle pad will work with it. The battery itself does not make up half of the 3DS's price.

What Nintendo should do is release a circle pad pro with a battery pack built in.

Why didn't they put it in the 3DS before shipping it out for us to buy it.

I just ordered a similar product from Best Buy for $9.99. It doesn't claim 10 hours but it is supposed to last twice as long as the factory battery. Why would this one cost so much more?

Why would you pay almost the same price as the unit for a battery, Do you see people going out and paying 600$ for an extended battery for their phones? Drop it to 50$ and i would buy 2 but $120 is a lot.

ripoff customers that will help 3ds's sales alot not
nintendo should make an exception to warrentee voiding with the new battery pak

Why are the blue and black packs priced differently? Is there an actual difference between them and the white, red and pink ones?
