BioShock Infinite is definitely looking like it could be one of the most visually beautiful games coming out this year. While everyone always harps on about why gameplay and 1999 features are important, there's definitely a lot of people out there who take the art in video games very seriously. We got to sit down with Nate Wells, Art Director on BioShock Infinite, who told us all about the challenges he faced while working on this massive project in order to bring Columbia to life.
BioShock Infinite will be out for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC this year.

So looking forward to this game, looks amazing. Bioshock is a great game/series and this looks like a natural progression.
I agree that developers should spend the much needed time to make sure the game is shipped when it is ready and not pushed out to meet some strange marketing schedule.
Get it right and you will have a day one purchase from me. I would rather play a game instead of waiting for patches to install.

Too early for that, LF. Let Levine and his crew take their time. This is a true Bioshock title, (unlike 'BS2'...my personal opinion) and like any great feast it must be slow simmered and treated with great care. I trust that Mr. Levine will, when he is ready, will let us know.
