Car-stealing, hooker-hitting classics GTA 3 and GTA Vice City are both making their way to the PS3 via the PSN, according to a recent filing by the trusty ESRB. Both PS2 classics were re-rated by the ESRB to include a PlayStation 3 category. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas was not re-rated though. My guess is Rockstar will wait to release San Andreas until GTA 5 is closer to hitting its launch date. The two games share the bea-u-tiful city of Los Santos.
No word from Sony on when these titles will be available on the PSN. When they are released, will you be downloading them?

I'm disappointed with the fact that on the back of GTA IV it says there is a 2-4 player co-op, yet that option does not exist. Wouldn't that be considered almost false advertisement? It shouldn't be there if that isn't something you can do. It really ticked me off

I own all of them. I think we even have the org for nintendo. I do not think I'll dl them. my ps 2 and ps3 are running fine.
but i am glad others will be able to play them.

I would love this if they were in HD and had trophies otherwise I'll just play through them again on my PS2 sometime down the road.

Glad these are coming out. While I could get these for my PS3 I prefer to use my 360 controller, so il pass for now until a 360 comes out.

What a useless story. No details. Is it an HD remix? or just the PS2 ported directly? Trophies? On-line play of any kind? Anything to make it worth buying over the PS2 version we already own?

Ahhh vice city. I can't count the amount of times i snuck in the back of the military base with a helocopter to switch for the hunter
