Late last week, engineering students from the Netherlands unveiled the world's largest NES controller. You can see it above! It's very, very large!
While G4 is proud of the Nintendo controller's creators (Benjamin Allen, Stephen van’t Hof, and Michel Verhulst) for creating the monstrosity, we can't help but be a little sad. You see, the Guiness record they broke may have belonged to G4's own Attack of the Show!
Way back in 2005, AOTS (which was then co-hosted by Digg founder Kevin Rose) created a very, very large NES controller. I don't believe it was ever officially Guinness-certified as the largest on Earth, but it probably was. After all, how many huge NES controllers can there be? As you can see from the video below, AOTS's controller is considerably smaller than the Guiness winner.

That video makes me nostalgic. I miss when Attack Of The Show used to be just The Screen Savers with a different name. I can't even bear to watch it in its current state. It's like the zombie of a dear family member.

True story. Our teacher used to let us watch this stuff back when I was in high school because it was tech relevant.
Another true story. That is how co-op on PC gaming used to be. One person has the control of movement, and the other has ability use.

Very interesting. This is the G4TV I want. I still miss the good old days with the humble beginnings where Tommy and Victor would argue on Judgement Day. I even miss Cinematech....
