Jake Gaskill and Donell Tucker recently equipped their binoculars and set out on a mission to bring you an exclusive preview of Sniper Elite V2. The authentic World War II shooter will put you in the boots of a sniper and offer some insane features like tagging, a kill cam, and more. Check it all out, as well as a never before seen level, in the video below.
After the break you can check out the latest Sniper Elite V2 developer diary which goes in to detail about the storyline behind the game and some of the awesome sniping gameplay aspects.
Sniper Elite V2 will be out for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC on April 17, 2012.

Evidently they didn't play Sniper Elite for the ps2 or Xbox. Had all of the same features except marking them and it didn't show the internals of the bullet cam(but it did follow the bullet on long kills).
I still play Sniper Elite on my Xbox 360 and played up until the end of the original Xbox Live servers online modes in Sniper Elite.
I am hoping they bring back the co-op aspect as well as the online multiplayer because the entire original was perfect!

sigh... because everyone knows that they had effective silencers and variable scopes in WWII right? and wtf is a spotter? i realize this isn't trying to be a super realistic simulator and will probably be more action filled (and fun) because in addition to sniping you get to run around mowing down people with your Thompson and sneaking up crackin' necks of ridiculously unaware guards. Still waiting for a proper sniping game to be made, plenty milsim games have sniping elements but none have all the unique things that make snipers so different from any other type of operative. But it will never get made because most people wouldn't have fun with it. Guess i'll just have to wait till someone makes a mod for arma or red orchestra...
