Feedback's Question Of The Week

Do you like ice cream? Do you like homicidal clowns? If you answered yes to both of these questions you're going to love Feedback in a few weeks! We're going to have on a very special guest, Sir David Jaffe*. The man will be in studio to talk about the state of the gaming industry, the future of video games, oh and this little video game called TWISTED METAL!!! The exclamation marks and caps lock aren't part of the title, I'm just excited.

UPDATE: Equally knighted Tim Schafer will also be in studio! This is your chance to ask questions about Schafer's rocking history of games, like Psychonauts and Brutal Legend. Not to mention, but I am mentioning, Double Fine's next game, Happy Action Theater.

This is your chance to ask David Jaffe and Tim Schafer anything you want. Ask your questions in the comment section below. And as always, we'll give you something sweet if we choose your question.

ASK QUESTIONS!

*He's been knighted. Twice.

Do you think the God of War franchise went in the right direction after the first game?
Did you like the ending of the series, or do you think your original idea for the end of the series where Kratos stops the people in believing in the gods would have been better?

Looking a little beyond Twisted Metal, as well as backwards a little, you keynoted PAX back in August, stating that your future titles would have more attention paid towards gameplay because of a change in preference within what you liked in games, my questions are; did this philosophy carry over into the new Twisted Metal as you and the folks at Eat Sleep Play were making it? Also, with your studio along with Lightbox being involved with collaborations with Sony, is there any possible future collaborations with them, or even with another studio/publisher that shares your same philosophy?

Love the show, keep up the great work!

When sitting down for a longer gaming session, be it at home or at the office, playing for fun or work, is there a favorite food or drink you like to have by your side?

There have been many good and many bad video game movies. Some originate from franchises rich with potential screenplay narratives and others are pulling from a dry well. Do you think any of your signature franchises, specifically Twisted Metal and God of War, could successfully make the jump to cinema? I'm not sure about God of War but I believe Twisted Metal could thrive as a cult classic grindhouse sort of flick.
