Techland's Dead Island is an easy pick for one of the sleeper hits of 2011. The open-world, first-person zombie masher wasn't without its issues at launch, but the game's blend of brutal combat and dangling carrots, not to mention full four-player co-op, made it a must-buy for discerning gamers.
Publisher Deep Silver has now confirmed that February will bring the release of some new DLC, the story-expanding 'Ryder White' pack. Players will get to step into the shoes of White himself, Dead Island's primary antogonist, as they see the unfolding epidemic from a new perspective. The DLC will also add two blueprints and weapons, according to the press release.
The 'Ryder White' pack arrives on February 1, with a price tag of 800 MS Points on Xbox Live or $9.99 on PSN and Steam.
