It's Thursday, the best day of the week! Not because it's almost Friday, not because it's Thirsty Thursday at my local bar, but because it's the day we get to see the newest episode of The MMO Report. This week Casey will drop some knowledge about the Firefly MMO that's not as dead as we thought, DC Universe Online's one year anniversary and their 8th content update, and we'll learn how Casey's lineage is being passed on to the next generation in Uncle Casey's Mail Bag! I fear for the future of the human race.

Why would you say that you have to start as a game tester in the video game industry? Although I have seen this on some occasions, it is by far NOT the most common entry path to become a developer. There are a lot of student hires. Excel in your game development studies and there a very high chance a company already has you on their radar. Internship is also a very good way to get a feeling of the work environment (and get hooked on it :P).
In any case, will all due respect, I think you are wrong about this and should probably publicly revert that comment as it will discourage people from entering the industry and/or just waste their precious time doing something they don't actually want to do.

I have to wonder what the child will think when its 20+ and knows they were named in this manner. Casey better get a written waiver from getting sued hehe.
Anyway grats to the spawn makers.
And btw. Its a --shame-- that MMO-champion has cut showing the mmo report from their site because they wanted to feature their own vid new segment. They'll come to wish they hadnt imo since they could feature someone with a more camera/journalistic presence...
