Gears of War 3 DLC "Fenix Rising" will include several multiplayer maps. G4 has an exclusive look at "The Slab." Before Gears of War 1 Marcus was incarcerated at Jacinto Maximum Security Prison, affectionately nicknamed The Slab. This prison wasn't a place where criminals were sent to be rehabilitated; this was a place where criminals were sent to be forgotten. In this video, you'll get a bird's eye view of the new map. Cheery, right? The architecture of the prison is just lovely. Those arch ways are definitely inspired by the Romans.
Gears 3 DLC pack Fenix Rising will come with five maps total; Academy, Anvil, Depths, Escalation, and The Slab, and is available on January 17th.

I wish more people were into Gears 3, I also wish G4 would have made it shooter of the year, despite its tight fan base. Either way new map=more gears!
