Ubisoft has announced a delay for Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. While the game was originally slated for a March 6 release, you'll now have to wait to play one of the most intense gaming experiences of the year until May 22, 2012 for on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles. The game will be out on PC at a later date.
Basically Ubisoft just needed more time to polish the game so that they can release the best product possible. If you're dying to get your hands on the game, luckily for you there will be a multiplayer beta going live for both systems in April.
“Ubisoft prides itself on creating some of the most compelling and innovative experiences in digital entertainment,” said Adrian Lacey, IP development director at Ubisoft Studios France. “Today we are feature complete in our multi-player, single-player and four-player co-op campaign modes. We have made the decision to move the date in order to ensure that all these ingredients are pushed to the highest level and provide a truly unique shooter experience."
He continued, "The Ghost Recon franchise is known for setting the standard of high definition gaming and we believe the extra couple of months will allow us to reach that goal. We would like to thank all Ghost Recon fans for their patience and look forward to unveiling some exciting new elements in the coming weeks.”
Are you going to pre-order Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier?

its goda be better than c.o.d any of them. or any other shooter out there to date. graw 2 is still going strong but the best only last so long

im still waiting for the beta, i got the code out of splinter cell conviction if anyone else got that and how log ago was that. i don't mind waiting for a game just so long they live up to the hype they say they are polishing and whatever else. in my opinion a game company should not release trailers and info about a game unless they know they can meet there deadline. or we will be waiting 12 years like duke nukem. and even then our expectations were gone sometimes it's just not worth the wait

I don't think that this game is ever coming out!! I have had this on pre-order since it was first announced like 2 years ago!!!! Come on Ubisoft, why can't you get this game out!!! I think that I'll just go and cancel my pre-order and maybe they'll eventually release the game.

Oh shoot. At least its the same month.
Dr_Mindbender

I already knew, odds are max paybe will change the release date also. I mean there all great franchises but come on smart business is just dont release the same date as mass effect 3
godzillaisyourdaddy
I think the main reason why they pushed it is because Mass Effect 3 is going to be the center of attention and they wont acquire much profit in comparison, so having a different month with less known games will probably gain more sales.
Steel3685
Well I guess I can still replay GRAW 1 and 2
Splatch
is anybody really surprised by this though? I dont remember a tom clancy game that made it on time. meh oh well, its only 2 months, I still dont have any money from this past fall/holiday to spend on games anyway

Silver Lining: Won't conflict with Mass Effect 3
DPsx7
I smell the new DNF.
Mystyr_E
It's like Splinter Cell all over again.
Protip: wait till you're absolutely sure the game's finished, THEN announce your release date. Otherwise everyone will just get irritated and lose interest
