    Why are we still after 30+ yrs still chasing dragon's and zombies and other cliche'd villains in RPG's? How do you expect that stereotype to evolve now that you guys have finally made a stand to make the combat and class system stand out differently than other games?

    With the recent release of the not-so-great hardware and software sales figures of the Japanese model PSP Vita, what are your predictions for the release of the system in North America?

    Will the PSP Vita have a slow start like Nintendo's 3DS had? Or will the system exceed your expectations from the beginning?

    @JoeQ
    You've raised the bar in regards to how RPG combat is depicted - Reckoning combat is now the foundation for how I envision pen and paper D&D combat. A great deal of that is due to the weight and reactions of the attacks. Do you anticipate that bleeding over into other subsets of RPGs, like Copernicus and MMORPGs in general?

    @KenRolston
    Other than combat, what system or feature would you like to see "borrowed" from Reckoning and expanded upon in RPGs in general?

    I know I'm going to sound like such a fanboy for this, but I'm actually a hardcore PC MMO player. Anyway here is the question:

    Is there a possibillity that Project Copernicus could be on a console. Perhaps the PS3, because I was thinking what the combat is going to be like since it's such a big part of Reckoning and I think a console adaptation would be a good thing, and that it could encourage other developers to do the same. The thought of playing an MMO with a controller sounds pleasing and it's certainly not impossible.

    Also ask them why they named it (Project Copernicus) after me. Seriously my first name is Copernicus just cuz my parents liked the name!

    What do you think makes the best RPG's so addictive, is it the discovery of new places, powers, weapons etc., the feeling of becoming more powerful as you level up, or the story and characters, or some combination of the two or something else i didn't mention. What keeps you coming back to the RPGs you love?

    @KenRolston
    You played several days not doing any quests. Other than xp from discovering new locations and killing mobs, were there other ways to gain xp? Can we gain xp from crafting?
    What is your favorite Destiny to play? And why?
    What is your favorite area (Plains of Erathell, Dalentarth, Detyre, Klurikon or Alabastra)? And why?
    Does Dispelling work on other objects besides chests? Do you prefer Dispelling over Lockpicking?
    What is your favorite in-game Achievement?

    @JoeQ
    Which Brutal Weaponry Tier has your favorite special attack? Which special attack is that?
    Does Assassin's Art give bonus damage to weapons other than Daggers and Faeblades?
    Does Master of Arms max all weapon Mastery abilities as well as all Weaponry abilities?
    What is your favorite in-game Achievement?
    Do you tend to Blacksmith and socket your armor and weapons or acquire them some other way?

    Did any of the people working on KoA have anything to do with Project Offset? I really want to know what the hell that was! other than that all I want to know about is the story of course, but I don't want spoilers anyway so I'll just wait. Just tell them that if they see R.A. Salvatore around to say how awesome I think he is and thank them all for making such a cool game to look foward to.

    It's well known [at least to those of us devouring information about the game] that Reckoning is being built from the BHG engine that was originally being used to craft another Open World RPG that was only partially developed, and I can only assume it was going to have been an action RPG from the combat mechanics such as active blocking and dodging.

    I'm curious about how the development of the 'Deep Backbone of RPG systems, hard player choices and mechanics' with action game-play evolved,

    Who you think out of the development team is most responsible for the concept, as well as the current implementation of it? [Incidentally, I can't wait to get my hands on it, this game-play concept has been my dream game idea for over a year now, but I couldn't put it into words clearly until I saw your interviews.]

    Do you think JRPGs will ever try and emulate the more Western style RPGs that most Westerners are familiar with, or at the very least tweak it so JRPGs can be more accessible to a much broader audience?

    As a fan of turn based rpg's. Will we ever see the return of turn base rpg' or a new form of turn base rpg in the future?

    In the past recent years, it seems that there have been a lot of games of other genres that take elements of the rpg genre (such as the level-up system) to revolutionize their own genre. For example, ever since the Call of Duty franchise added the level-up system to their multiplayer, almost every other major fps has followed suite.

    Do you see any chance that the rpg genre taking elements of other genres and revolutionizing itself to the same extent?

    Do you think that the action based combat in KOAR will help breathe new life into RPG's, which have traditionally had clunky combat?

    How far away are we, as an industry, from making rpg experiences longer than the usually 20-50 hour norm. I believe that skyrim has come close to this but much of it's experience past 50 hours comes from the replayability. I feel like many developers are imposed with the unfair limitation of how long the game they develope can be or how high the production values can be, just because The industry is determined to sell games at a unified price point(e.g. most new games are ~$60).

    Considering the trend towards user-generated content, do you think it will be in Guild Wars 2?

    With recent rpgs like the Mass Effect series and The Witfcher, they have put a focuson having a deep choice and consequence system. Will Kingdoms of Amalur feature a similar system, where the player can make choices throughout the game that will have affects on the storyline snd characters? If so can you give an example and to what extent?

    Thank you.

    With recent rpgs like the Mass Effect series and The Witcher, which feature a deep system of choices and consequences that can affect major story changes, will Kingdoms of Amalur feature it's own choices and consequences system? If so can you give an example of how deep it can go and to what extent?

    Thank you.

    What's good ya'll? Do ya'll think the increasing choices and its deviation into different story paths in role playing games today can undermine the level of emotional impact you would've had than from a game like Uncharted? Or is it the other way around, that personal choices are becoming more and more the norm? If I remember correctly, Arkham Asylum didn't as have much side quests as Arkham City did. The more I think about this, the more I think linear games will be a thing of the past by the next generation of consoles.
