Tecmo Koei and Team Ninja have announced the release date for Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus. The Vita title will be released on February 22, 2012. The PS Vita "launch window title" is an upgraded version of the PS3 title, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, which was released in 2007. With NGS PLUS gamers will be getting new features exclusive to the vita like touchscreen and gyro sensor functionality.

I've always read the great reviews of the series but never played any of it myself. This is a direction I always wanted the Vita to explore, making enhanced content of preexisting software. Whereas I would avoid playing HD remakes on a console when there are more modern exeriences to be had, I would love to handle these bad boys on the vitaas they offer console level quality on a portable device.
As for the system, once a FF and some other major franchises joins the new ip roster, it ought to do just fine.

LOL, NG was dope on the old xbox and Sigma was even more so on PS3 except the Rachael part's (meh) i am down for it if its still good but will it have trophys this time? Vita has this feature yes?

touch screen and gyro sensor are not features they should be listed as "NEW FRUSTRATING HANDICAPPER GIMMICKS" but anyone how likes team ninja is ok with a 25 hour waste of time sorry a 25 hour waste of time SIGMA
