Gotham City Imposters Beta Pits Fake Batmen Against Fake Jokers In September

Gotham City Impostors has been delayed. The game that has been hailed, by me, as DC Universe meets Team Fortress 2 was set to be release on January 10th but now, gamers can expect to suit up as a copycat super heroes in February.

In case you don't already know, Gotham City Impostors is a downloadable title from Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment. It's being released on the PSN, PC, and XBL. GCI lets gamers take the role of "impostors" who take on the identity of DC Comics characters like Batman and The Joker. It's an FPS and insane. I was part of the beta test and I felt the graphics was fine. the game is surprisingly a lot of fun and crazy at ttime which was a lot of fun.

Looks like something to have fun with. No k/d try hards. Just good fun if you have friends or just had a bad day and don't wanna deal with COD try hards. Defiantly getting this one:D To me it's boarderlands a multiplayer! And i loved Boarderlands so I see no reason not to give it a try

It looks alright, but it does seem more like CoD than TF2. There had better be more characters than Joker and Batman, cuz that'd get old fast. Personally, I'd like a team of Banes.

Kind of reminds me of Borderlands or like Thogin said Team Fortress. looks ok, I'm not the biggest fan of shooters but if its moderately priced and I can get my friends to get in on it I'll probably play it.

I'd have to agree that this game seems to offer next to nothing new to an already painfully saturated genre.
I can see it moving a decent amount of units...might even warrant a sequel in a year...but other than the bat-pandering...there's no real reason to believe that this will garner any real praise from shooter fans.

Rental at best.

The graphics are no worse than a CoD, and it's only an arcade game.

Wow that games looks like crap....what is that PS2 or the 1st XBox my god!!! But " Now you know what a hero looks like! " this game is as Fail as it gets :(
