Sega's classic shooters House of the Dead 3 and House of the Dead 4 are coming exclusively to the PlayStation Network. While House of the Dead 3 has been on consoles like the Wii and Xbox, 2005's House of the Dead 4 is finally leaving the nest, as the game has never set foot outside of the arcade. Both shooters will be getting HD updates as well as the addition of Move support and Trophies.
“The House of the Dead has always been one of Sega’s most popular series, and over the years we have worked hard to bring that full arcade experience to console owners,” said Haruki Satomi, Senior Vice President of Digital Business at Sega of America. “The abilities of the PlayStation 3, as well as PlayStation Move, have let us get closer than ever before. The only thing these titles are missing is a need for quarters.”
House of the Dead 3 will be out on Februrary 7 and House of the Dead 4 will arrive in Spring 2012. Are you excited to shoot some zombies with these HD reboots?

Awesome. The Move's existence is now finally justified.

Sure, why not? Only on PS3 will you find variety, giving life to struggling genres such as this. Plus more software to use with our Move is a bonus. Although I think other HotD's released on Wii too. They just need to be the right price. Don't like paying more than $10 for anything on PSN since there's no physical copy.

Two questions: 1) Will it be compatible with the PlayStation Move Sharpshooter, and 2) Can we get the original "House of the Dead" released on current-gen consoles?

I perhaps see a Sharpshooter Move accessory, and a Move, in my future.

Wow, must be XboX's year to get nothing... none of the games of 2012 have impressed me YET!

Wasn't House of the Dead 3 released on Xbox 9 years ago?
