I stumbled across the above video on Engadget over the weekend as I was looking around for tech news. A chiptune composer who goes by the name cTrix put together a sweet-looking custom "guitar" of sorts to use during live performances.
An Atari 2600 console is at the heart of the creation, with the "fretboard" occupied by a series of effects pedals that are typically used by regular guitarists as footswitch controllers. The video also features cTrix's live performance at Japan's Blip Fest 2011, giving you a chance to check out the gATARI2600 in action!
