God Of War 4 Resume Listing Confirms What We Already Knew

God of War 3

The new year is off to a slow start on the news front, but I hope we'll have more exciting info to bring you soon. In the meantime, why not take a look at the resume for one Timothy Williams, a composer who worked on the musical arrangements for Valve's upcoming Dota 2 as well as a number of Hollywood films. It seems that Mr. Williams has also been busy with another high-profile project: God of War 4.

The mention of Sony's still unannounced sequel was spotted by Siliconera, with the game listed among Williams' "upcoming" projects. Yes, we all probably knew in our hearts that a fourth console God of War game would happen at some point. With the last one now almost two years behind us, some of you might have even guessed that it would be coming soon. Recent rumors pointed to a fall 2012 release for the sequel, but March 2013 isn't out of the question, since the other three console God of War games were all March releases.

There will be a GOW4 at some point I have no idea what story could be about. All the gods that matter are dead. The Titans that matter are dead. Maybe Uranus as the next villain but I do hope that Kratos has some kind of redemption in 4. Because really when you look at it Kratos destroyed the world so he could have his revenge.

well thanks to some helpful fans i now know there are a few gods left sorry about my older post i only know some of the gods but if there some remaining who are they if the are not in any way strong smart or have a power over the land then Kratos is going to be swimming for most of the game.

people are bitching about a game that isnt even officially confirmed. If its not confirmed it means there is NO information out about the game, which means yall have NO idea what your talking about. Now go ahead & hate my ass i wont even notice

They should re-name it God of GWAR

I agree w/Bonerjam it's a very tired formula I am glad to see a your person I would imagine he/she is starting to realize it's the same game over and over. But you can thank the GOW fan-boys and the mindless consumer you know the ones that buy either Madden or the latest WWE game year after year so on and on.

This year 2012 is starting to shape as the year of UN wanted sequals.

i don't see any way for a new story unless its an other time warp really guys we know the last game ended with nothing but Kratos on the planet and he already killed every single god.

lets look at the facts to those saying a 4th GoW why? Halo has 4 games multiple reboots of the first one and a 5th coming. All of them are the exact same. CoD and modern warfare are on the umpteenth version with no difference. Assassins Creed has 4 games with a 5th being made that are all the same. At least GoW is taking more time in-between games then some of the others. As for new IP's they are out there all the time. people do not try them. Who bought Enslaved, why is EA turning DeadSpace into a fps, Reason to make GoW 4 is because it will sell a crapload and make people money.

Similarities of Halo and God of War: 1. 1st game was revolutionary/ 2. the series have more then 4 games under its belt/ 3. Both series need a reboot/ 4. The stories throughout the series have been basically the same Ex: Kratos is angry at something and needs to tear it's head off or kill in a brutal way and Halo; there are aliens and Master Chief needs to kill them I try not to be bias I have a 360 and a PS3, but I'm not a big fan of Halo or God of war. I'm more excited for the new God of War then the new Halo just because I'm just tired of the first person space marines shooting a total of eight different aliens.

I'll play anything the Santa Monica boys make, but I don't see where they will take this in Greek mythos, but hopefully with the "power vacuum" Kratos created maybe have the Egyptian Gods try to take over. That would provide enough canon fodder for Kratos to fight through for a few games.
