Did you pick up Gears of War 3 in September and decide to skip out on any DLC releases in favor of waiting for a sale? Even though you could ALREADY save at launch by buying the game's Season Pass, an pre-order bundle for four major DLC releases with a savings attached to it? We bully for you; today is your day.
Day 11 of Microsoft's 12 Days of Deals holiday promotion on Xbox Live puts Gears of War 3 front and center today. There are just four items on the list of reduced price digital merchandise, but one of them is that Season Pass, available for 1800 MS Points instead of the usual 2400 (a 25 percent savings). Also available: the Gears 3 Skins Launch Collection (1800 MS Points) and two avatar items: a Gold Lancer and a Boomshield, available for 160 MS Points apiece.

I'm not saying that throwing your hard earned money away is any good either. But if your gonna b*tch and moan about a few dollars here and there, you need to get a different hobby. Gaming is a form of entertainment, and entertaining things always cost more at first.
I am a little agitated about the Season Pass already selling at a cheaper price. But oh well, they could have stopped selling it all together. Then I would be paying full price for every dlc if I had not bought it early on. I guess I'm just a cup half full kind of person.
If you don't understand where I am coming from on this, then may I suggest crocheting as a new hobby. Oh right, you will probably complain about that deal on yarn that the store is having after you were just there a few weeks ago and stocked up. Joking, Ha!

Hope everybody got they're Gold Lancers while they were on sale cause they are GONE NOW!!! Along with every other gun on the avatar marketplace.

This year's sale seemed kind of lackluster...All I picked up was the Rockstar Pass because I got L.A. Noire for Christmas. Kinda wished I had gotten some of the Fallout DLCs, but I was waiting for a possible ME2 DLC sale...sadly I was mistaken...V_V

already got the season pass at full price since i got it day one. but few of my friends just got it a few days ago and their pissed.
M$ should take pointers from Steam/valve. If they teamed up it will help with their sales and finally give the PC folks Halo 3 and beyond.

Steam sale: Games that came out a month ago under 20$
Xbox: 15 a month to have access to dlc thats just under 20$. No discount on the game
