Cody Garreans-Walsh, a gamer and loved member of his community in Jefferson, Iowa, is being memorialized with a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 urn after he was killed in a fire inside his own home on December 6. His family and friends held a memorial for the boy on Sunday, and while they all said it was a very sad day for the whole town, they also said they wanted to keep Cody's memory alive. Especially his love of video games.
His mother, Sandra Garreans, even got a Call of Duty tattoo. Cody's family and friends wore CoD t-shirts under their clothes at the memorial. “It’s not only to mourn his death but we all remembering him growing up and the happy times. He had a lot of these. That’s what I will remember,” said Sandra.
