Radical Entertainment established some great ideas in its superpowered open-world adventure from 2009, Prototype. The series returns next year with some gameplay tweaks that fans hope will cut down on some of the first game's shortfalls. One of the new, previously unrevealed features, Hunting, is explored in a new developer diary from Radical.

One of the secondary tasks in Prototype 2 will involve poking your nose into secret military projects and then disrupting them in the game's typically violent fashion. First, you'll absorb some VIP's memories (and, more importantly, access codes) and then use that information to uncover these secret missions, from which you can earn passive, stackable boosts called Mutations. The video does a much better job of explaining it than I do, so check it out up top.
