Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City Multiplayer " Heroes Mode" Pits Classic Characters Against One Another

Capcom has just announced a new multiplayer mode for Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City called Heroes Mode. This mode will allow two teams of classic Resident Evil characters to face off against one another in battles of epic proportion. You'll be able to fight as characters like Leon, Claire, Carlos, and Jill, versus Hunk, Nicholai, Lone Wolf, and Ada. Of course, there will also be zombies mixed in too, but killing a zombie is no where near as cool as killing Jill Valentine, right?

Wow, I cannot wait until March! I think this style of gameplay with the RE universe will be a nice change of pace and might get more people to give this game a shot.

Omg..Hahahah..YES.
When I first heard about/saw the first trailer of this game, I thought that the only thing this game needed was being able to play as the main protagonists to verse against the USS in multiplayer (instead of the generic US Spec Ops). And now that they actually have this, this game is definitely on my list of games to get in 2012.

One question though: Will Chris Redfield & Rebecca Chambers be in Heroes mode too? (I don't see 'em.)

The next RE needs multiplayer like left 4 dead. But split the players up a lot .. & with traditional... original... RE gameplay. And does any1 have 2 bother bringing up mobile shooting...? Still... this doesn't look 2 bad.
