Bethesda Softworks released a PC patch for The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim earlier this week, bringing the game up to version 1.3. The console version of that patch is now available on your Xbox 360 (via Twitter), with the PlayStation 3 patch hopefully following within the next few days. Be aware though, it won't address the Sony console's ongoing lag issues with the game.
In addition to some general stability improvements, the v1.3 patch addresses a range of more specific issues (per the patch notes): fixed Radiant Story incorrectly filling certain roles, fixed magic resistances not calculating properly, fixed issue with placing books on bookshelves inside player purchased homes, fixed dragon animation issues with saving and loading and fixed Y-look input to scale correctly with framerate.
I know, I know... it's not exactly the sexiest update. Working Skyrim is MUCH better than not-working Skyrim though, so heed this PSA and go get the patch.
