UPDATE: We now have a North American release date for Ninja Gaiden 3: March 20. There's also a Collector's Edition version of the game, available only through GameStop, that packs in an art book, a soundtrack CD, an action figure and a four-character Dead or Alive 5 demo. You can also nab two-fighter versions of demo by pre-ordering from either GameStop (Ryu Hayabusa and Hitomi) or Amazon (Ayane and Hayate).
ORIGINAL POST: Japan always gets the coolest stuff. Ninja Gaiden 3 was confirmed earlier this week for a March 22 release there, and now Siliconera is reporting that the "first print copies" of the game will include a download code for a playable demo of Team Ninja's upcoming fighter, Dead or Alive 5.
In a neat twist, the demo will offer up console-specific fighters for you to play with. Hayate and Ayane will be available to PlayStation 3 users while Xbox 360 users get Hitomi and Ryu Hayabusa. There's no word yet on whether or not we can expect to see a similar offer here in the US of A though, so don't get TOO excited.

Three ninjas and one martial artist. Dead of Alive is one of my favorite franchises, but they really invest a lot in their ninja characters and it feels like they don't give as much attention to the more interesting ones. I guess it makes sense since a lot of the major plot points involve Kasumi and Hayate.
I'd still like to see if they changed the way other characters played - especially those with multiple stances like Helena, Christie, Lei Fang, and Brad Wong.
